 I am sorry I have not been keeping up on this very well!! The last 2 chemo treatments went well. I usually don't sleep the day of hook up because of the steroids they give me, so that is a hard night and I usually work the next day and that can be pretty tiring! But I am a badass bitch and will get through this no matter what!! I recently had my latest CT scan done on the 22 of December and just talked to the oncologist today and he said everything has gotten smaller and nothing new has popped up so that is great news and I will continue with the treatment we are currently doing. When I go next week I will ask him what the plan of attack is. Are we trying to get me to surgery again or not will be the question I am asking.   Again I apologize to anyone who is regularly on here checking for updates. I have been slacking the last few treatments!  James and I had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas.  He spoiled me rotten and got me everything I asked for and more! H...

CT SCANS!

Had to make a trip to the city today for my CT scans! On the way there I had a slight melt down! Just sad that this is my life now.. Dr. appointments, chemo, ct scans…. and so on! I know I am strong and will get through this with the love and support from my family and friends. But I am allowed to have my moments as well!!!

PET-SCAN RESULTS, UGH!

Alright, Just got my pet scan results. But first I had a CT scan a week before the pet scan. The ct scan showed no active cancer. Which was hard to believe bc they said they didn't get all of a lymph node during my liver ablation and lymph node removal surgery that was June 30th. So that's why they ordered a pet scan. So she told me today that the liver lit up on the pet scan but it could just be inflammation from surgery. And that the lymph nodes were not as bright. So they suggested waiting 10 weeks and doing another ct scan. So my worry is why would we do another ct scan if the first one didn't show anything that the pet scan did? When I asked her how long the liver stays inflamed she had no answer for me. So I am just worried about waiting the 10 weeks to scan again. This is also not coming from my primary oncologist.
